Biryani is no pie in the sky Why?
Robots and the soft power of AI, deployed together, have brought us one step closer to going full AI. We have achieved ‘almost’ autonomous cooking from our Central Processing kitchens right down to our individual outlets. We call it AI-Assisted for now, part machines, part AI.
How? We remain in charge of workflows, processes, and tools or equipment. Artificial intelligence chips in on demand and acts as supportive, augmenting vetted input, rather than as a fully autonomous system. No wonder biryani is called the most flavourful rice dish in the world across all regions and cultures with greatest depth of taste. It is no pie in the sky. The allure of biryani from the first helping is good to the last.
One slice of a pie settles all your expectations of it. Nothing more.
Biryani’s flavours and its layered taste grows on you. It just doesn’t meet your expectations of it but, at times, surpasses it.
The short answer to the results achieved on the back of this hybrid system is resource conservation, manpower savings, and time saved. We will get there, eventually. For now, in these scenarios, the human remains in control, providing overall input and reviewing the output, while robots, other digitised equipment, and platforms handle repetitive, mundane, or complex processing tasks to increase speed and quality.
We decided to commit ourselves to intelligence-based cooking a long time ago, before the birth of AI. The final decision of go/no-go still rests with us humans in the kitchen. AI is here to enhance capability, not replace it. We have been working on this for quite some time and feel confident to share it. Go try it and see if it meets your taste refinements.
