Ordering Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions govern all orders placed through bismillahbiryani.com and our online ordering platform at order.bismillahbiryani.com. By placing an order with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms in full.

These terms apply to direct orders placed on our website. If you order through GrabFood or Foodpanda, the terms of those platforms also apply to your order.
 

Bismillah Biryani is operated by Bismillah Food Industry Pte Ltd (UEN: 201720756R), a company incorporated in Singapore.

Key Terms — Please ReadBefore ordering, please note the following:

  • Uncollected pickup orders: Orders not collected before an outlet's closing time will be forfeited. No refund will be issued.

  • Party and bulk order cancellations: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery or pickup time to qualify for a full refund. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice are not eligible for a refund.

  • Allergens: Our food is prepared in kitchens that handle nuts, dairy, gluten, shellfish, and other common allergens. We cannot guarantee any item is allergen-free.

1. Ordering & Contract Formation

All orders are subject to availability. A binding contract between you and Bismillah Food Industry Pte Ltd is formed only upon our sending you an order confirmation by email or through our ordering platform. The placement of an order constitutes an offer to purchase; no contract exists until that offer is accepted by us via confirmation.
 

We reserve the right to cancel or decline any order prior to confirmation, including where items are unavailable or where an error in pricing or product information has occurred. If we cannot fulfil your order, you will be notified promptly and a full refund will be processed.
 

Our online store at order.bismillahbiryani.com is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Same-day orders are subject to outlet operating hours and kitchen capacity at the time of ordering.
 

For party and bulk orders (trays, bento boxes, and large-quantity orders), a minimum of 24 hours' advance notice is required. During festive periods — including Hari Raya, Deepavali, Christmas, and Chinese New Year — a minimum of 5 days' advance notice is required. We strongly recommend ordering early during peak periods as capacity is limited.
 

Food is available for delivery and pickup within Singapore only. We do not deliver outside Singapore.

2. Pricing & GST

All prices displayed on this website are in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and are inclusive of 9% Goods and Services Tax (GST). GST is charged at the prevailing rate set by the Singapore government; if this rate changes, prices will be updated accordingly.
 

Prices are subject to change without notice. The price charged will always be the price confirmed at the time your order is accepted.

3. Payment

We accept the following payment methods:

Online orders (order.bismillahbiryani.com):

  • Credit and debit cards (VISA, Mastercard)

  • PayNow

  • Bank transfer

In-store at our outlets:

  • Cash

  • NETS

  • PayNow

Payment for all delivery orders must be made in full at the time of ordering. We do not accept payment on delivery. For bank transfer payments, your order will be processed upon confirmation of receipt of funds.

4. Delivery

We offer islandwide delivery across Singapore. There is no minimum order value. Free delivery applies on direct orders above $100 (based on the order subtotal before any applicable fees).
 

Delivery is fulfilled by third-party logistics providers. We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • High-traffic periods or adverse weather conditions

  • An incorrect or incomplete delivery address provided by the customer

  • Events beyond our or our delivery partners' reasonable control
     

We will make reasonable efforts to contact you if a delivery is materially delayed. For time-sensitive orders, we recommend the pickup option or making your own delivery arrangements.
 

We accept no liability for late delivery caused by third-party delivery services. Nothing in this clause excludes our liability for our own negligence in preparing or handing over your order.

5. Pickup Orders

Pickup orders may be collected from any of our five outlets during operating hours. Please present your order confirmation upon collection.
 

Orders not collected before the outlet's closing time on the scheduled date will be forfeited and no refund will be issued. If you are unable to collect on time, please contact the relevant outlet as early as possible and we will do our best to assist.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

Standard orders (individual and small orders): Once an order has been confirmed and payment received, cancellations are not generally accepted as food preparation begins promptly. If you need to cancel, contact us immediately at info@bismillahbiryani.com or call the relevant outlet. We will do our best to accommodate requests made significantly before preparation begins, but cannot guarantee cancellation.
 

Party and bulk orders: Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery or pickup time are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will not be eligible for a refund, as ingredients and preparation will already be committed.
 

Refunds, where approved, will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Order issues: If your order is incorrect, incomplete, or of unsatisfactory quality, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt at info@bismillahbiryani.com with photographs and a description of the issue. We will assess each case individually and where appropriate offer a partial refund, store credit, or replacement.

7. Allergies & Dietary Requirements

Our food is prepared in kitchens that handle nuts, dairy, gluten, shellfish, eggs, and other common allergens. We cannot guarantee that any item is free from allergens or cross-contamination. If you or someone in your party has a severe food allergy, please contact us directly at info@bismillahbiryani.com before placing an order.

Allergen information for specific dishes is available upon request.
 

All our food is prepared without MSG.
 

Bismillah Biryani is Muslim-owned and operated. We follow Islamic dietary principles in food preparation. We are not MUIS halal-certified.

8. Personal Data & Privacy (PDPA)

Bismillah Food Industry Pte Ltd is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) of Singapore, including amendments that came into force in February 2021.

Data we collect: We collect personal data including your name, email address, phone number, and delivery address when you place an order, sign up to our mailing list, or register for our loyalty programme.
 

How we use your data:

  • To process, confirm, and deliver your orders

  • To respond to your enquiries

  • To send you marketing communications where you have provided explicit consent (you may withdraw consent at any time — see below)

  • To administer your loyalty programme account (operated by Atlas Kitchen)

  • To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations
     

Third-party data processors: We share your personal data with third-party service providers only to the extent necessary to fulfil the above purposes. These include: our online ordering platform, third-party delivery logistics providers, Atlas Kitchen (loyalty programme), and email marketing service providers. We do not sell your personal data.
 

Marketing communications: By subscribing to our mailing list on this website, you consent to receiving marketing emails from Bismillah Biryani. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us at info@bismillahbiryani.com. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing before withdrawal.
 

Your rights under PDPA: You have the right to (a) access the personal data we hold about you, (b) correct inaccurate personal data, and (c) withdraw consent for processing where consent is the basis for processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact our Data Protection Officer (see below).
 

Data Protection Officer (DPO): Bismillah Food Industry Pte Ltd has appointed a Data Protection Officer as required under PDPA s.11(3). For all data protection enquiries, access requests, or complaints, contact:

Data breach notification: In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in significant harm to you, we will notify the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) and affected individuals as required under the PDPA.

Data retention: We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law.

9. Cookies

Our website (bismillahbiryani.com) uses cookies — small data files stored on your device — to enable website functionality, remember your preferences, and analyse site traffic. Some cookies are set by Wix, our website platform, and by third-party tools we use.
 

By continuing to use our website, you consent to the use of cookies as described above. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings, though doing so may affect the functionality of the site.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on bismillahbiryani.com — including text, images, logos, and branding — is the property of Bismillah Food Industry Pte Ltd and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this site for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

11. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from any cause beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, government restrictions, pandemic or epidemic, power outages, fire, flood, or failure of third-party service providers. In such circumstances, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and, where possible, offer a rescheduled delivery date or a full refund.

12. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraudulent misrepresentation. These exclusions cannot be limited under Singapore law.
 

Subject to the above, and to the fullest extent permitted by the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 and other applicable law, Bismillah Food Industry Pte Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of our website or our products, including losses arising from delivery delays, product unavailability, or website errors.
 

Our total liability to you for any claim directly arising from an order shall not exceed the value of that order.

13. Disputes

If you have a complaint or dispute relating to an order, please contact us first at info@bismillahbiryani.com. We aim to resolve all complaints within 5 business days.
 

If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, you may refer the matter to the Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE) at case.org.sg before pursuing legal action.
 

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version with its date of last update will always be published at bismillahbiryani.com/terms. Continued use of our website or services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
