Is Bismillah Biryani Muslim-owned?

Yes. Bismillah Biryani is 100% Muslim-owned and operated by Bismillah Food Industry Pte Ltd. We are not MUIS halal-certified, but as a Muslim-owned business we follow Islamic dietary principles across all our outlets. All our food is prepared without MSG.

What is dum biryani?

Dum biryani is a slow-cooking technique where marinated meat and partially cooked basmati rice are layered in a sealed pot and cooked over a low flame. The trapped steam (dum) circulates inside the pot, infusing every grain of rice with the flavour of the spices and meat below. It is widely considered the most complex and flavourful method of making biryani — and it is the technique we have built Bismillah Biryani around.

Does Bismillah Biryani deliver?

Yes. We offer islandwide delivery across Singapore. You can order 24/7 directly at order.bismillahbiryani.com, or through GrabFood and Foodpanda. There is no minimum order for delivery. Free delivery applies on direct orders above $100.

How many Michelin Bib Gourmand awards has Bismillah Biryani won?

Nine. Bismillah Biryani has been awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025. The recognition applies to our 50 Dunlop Street outlet.

Can I order biryani catering for an event?

Yes. We offer dum biryani trays and bento boxes for corporate lunches, private functions, school events, and family gatherings of all sizes. Orders must be placed at least 24 hours in advance. During festive periods (Hari Raya, Deepavali, Christmas, Chinese New Year), please allow at least 5 days' notice.
