Money matters but your health counts

Over two decades ago, when we started the biryani business, we put up a sign in the Dunlop Street outlet, still there on the wall, that spoke of our philosophy at Bismillah.

It is even more true today than it was at the time. It influenced our choice of the things that go into the cooking of biryani and everything else that affects your health and well being. It led us to offer three portion sizes, small, regular and large, for you to choose from. It is the amount of food you choose to order and eat at one time.
Controlling portions helps manage calorie intake. You can go berserk with a flavourful dish like biryani but that will not be good for your health. More recently we introduced Gosht Biryani, meat with a little bit of biryani rice that sticks to it while being cooked and served with this biryani so you do not eat a plate full of carbs. We also have Bhuna Palak and Gobi Matar, sans potato, to extend the low carb offerings.
We try to stay true to our guiding principles to this day. Bon Appetit.
